Introduction: 

Bangladesh is rich in fruits. Her climate is suitable for growing different kinds of fruits in different seasons. Fruits are very good for health.

Kinds of Fruits:

Bangladesh grows many kinds of fruits. These fruits are different in size, taste and color. Some fruits are big and some are small. Some taste sweet and some taste sour. The most common fruits of our country are mango, jack-fruits, banana, coconut, pine apple etc.

Mango:

The mango is a summer fruit. It is called the king of fruits. There are many kinds of mangoes such as fazli, langra, gopalbhog, mohanbhog etc. Rajshahi, Chapi Nowabgonj and Bogra produce the best kinds of mangoes.

Jackfruits:

Jack-fruit is the biggest of all fruits in size. It is our national fruit. It grows in plenty in Dhaka, Mymensingh and Chittagong.

Banana:

Banana is a common fruit in Bangladesh. It grows almost everywhere in the country. The best types of bananas are the Sabri and the Sagar.

Coconut:

Coconut is a delicious fruit. It grows in all seasons. The water of the green coconut is a good drink. We get both food and oil from ripe coconuts.

Pine-apple:

Pine-apple is a fleshy and juicy fruit. It in Sylhet, Chittagong and Madhupur during the rainy season.

Lichi: 

Lichi is a small juicy fruit. Rajshahi and Dinajpur are famous for lichi.

Some other fruits: 

There are many other fruits in our country. Among these papays, black-barries, dates, melons, wood-apples, guava, plums, lemons etc are very well-known. Importance: Fruits are useful in many ways. They are our good food. They are rich in food value. Besides, we get a lot of foreign currency by exporting fruits to other countries. 

Conclusion:

Fruits play an important role in our life. So we should grow more fruits. Our government should take proper care of fruits.
