[Composition] - The Prize Giving Ceremony of Our School

Introduction:

The prize giving ceremony of a school is an occasion of great joy. On this occasion, prizes are given to the winners for their skill in games and sports, good result regular class attendance, good conduct and special skill in other subjects. The last prize giving ceremony of our school was held in our school on the 15 February last year.

Decoration:

We decorated our main school building and every corner of the school campus nicely. We used green leaves, flags, festoons and colored papers to enhance the beauty of the school. A colorful stage was made to hold the function. We made a welcome gate in the front of the school. There was also a victory stand from where winners received their prizes.

Beginning of the Function:

The guests and the guardians reached the school in time. The function began just at II a.m. with the recitation of a verse from the holy Quran. The national flag was hoisted and the national anthem was sung. The DC was the chief guest and the UNO was in the chair. The president and the chief guest were garlanded by two little girls.

Prize Giving:

Our Headmaster delivered a welcome speech. Then he read out the annual report of the school. Our guests and teachers also delivered speeches. Our Headmaster called out the names of the prize winners one by one. The chief guest gave away the prizes. After the distribution of the prizes, he delivered a short speech. He congratulated the winners on their success and prizes. Finally, the president rose to speak and gave the students valuable advice.

Conclusion:

The prize giving ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks. Really it was a day of joy to all of us. We shall never forget the memory of the day.
