[Composition] - A Journey by Train

Introduction:

A journey is a source of pleasure and experience. A journey by train is very interesting to me. Whenever I get time and chance, I make a journey by train. Then my heart leaps up with joy, A few ago I made a train journey from Dhaka to Mymensingh.

Time and Occasion:

It was summer vacation. My friend Hasan invited me to attend the marriage ceremony of his younger sister at their house in Mymensingh. I decided to go there by train.

Starting:

On the fixed day I reached the Kamlapur Railway Station at 7 a m. I bought a ticket for an inter-city train. I entered into the platform and saw some passengers and hawkers moving here and there. Everybody was busy there. I got into the train. The train started at 8:30 a m.

Description:

At first the train started slowly. Then it increased its speed. At last it was running at a high speed. In the train some passengers were gossiping some were discussing politics and some were reading newspaper. Some were eating and drinking. I sat beside a window. I looked outside and enjoyed the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. I saw some jute, sugar cane and paddy fields. some beautiful houses and trees. All these seemed to be running back. I saw farmers working in the field. Some boys and girls were playing in the field. I bought buscuit, chanachur and bananas and ate them. I also drank 7-up. I enjoyed everything to my heart's content.

Destination:

At last the train reached the Mymensingh Railway station at 11 a m. I got down from the train. My friend was present at the station. He received me cordially. Thus my journey came to an end.

Conclusion:

The train journey was a short one bus ! enjoyed it very much. It is the most pleasant journey in his life. Its memory will remain ever fresh in my heart.
