Introduction: 

Tea is a kind of drink. It is a popular drink. We get it from tea leaves. China is the first country to use tea. Tea is an evergreen shrub.

Where Grown:

Tea grows on hilly sides. They need much rain but they grow in the place where water does not stand. Tea grows in China, Japan, India, Bangladesh and Srilanka. In Bangladesh tea grows in Sylhet and Chittagong.

How grown: 

Tea plants grow from seeds. They cannot grow very high. They are regularly pruned. The new leaves come out. They are collected, dried and packed for sale.

Making a Cup of Tea: 

Water is boiled in a pot. Leaves of tea are put into the boiling water. Then sugar and milk are mixed with the liquor.

Usefulness: 

Tea is a useful drink. It is a cheap drink. It refreshes our mind and body. It removes tiredness.

Bad Effects: 

Excess of taking tea is not good. It kills hunger. It is not always good for the people of hot countries.

Conclusion: 

Tea is one of the main cash crops. We earn a lot of foreign exchange by exporting it. So we should grow more and more tea. We should take good care to increase its production.
