Introduction:

There are six seasons in Bangladesh. The rainy season is one of them. It is the second season of the year. It comes after the summer. The Bengali months of Ashar and Srabon are the rainy season. Sometimes it begins earlier and lasts longer.

How the season is:

During the rainy season the sky often remains cloudy. The sun is not seen for days together. Sometimes it rains cats and dogs. Sometimes it drizzles. Often thunder roars and lightening flashes across the sky. Rivers, canals, ponds and ditches are full to the brim. The fields go under water and look like a sca.

Why I Like:

I like the rainy season most for some reasons. It comes after the heat and thirst of summer. The poets and thinkers can think and write about this season. The raining sounds are very interesting to me. Then I think more and more about life and death. I also like it because it has some advantages.

Advantages:

The rainy season is very useful to us. The rains wash away the waste and filth. They lessen the intense heat of summer. Our agriculture depends on the rain water. The flood water makes our land fertile.

Disadvantages:

The rains cause sufferings to the people. Roads go under water and become muddy. Sometimes it becomes impossible to go out. The poor people suffer greatly. They cannot go out for work. The cattle suffer very much. Sometimes heavy rainfall causes floods. The price of things go up. Various diseases break out.

Conclusion:

Despite all these disadvantages, the rainy season has its own beauty. It is the most important season in our country. In fact, it is a blessing to the economy of our country.
